Tapawingo Trails Camp aims to provide a fun and nurturing environment where teens and young women can develop real-life skills including the ability to work on a team, organization, management and leadership skills.
There are a variety of staff positions available each summer including:
Counsellors and Counsellors-in-Training
LIT Counsellors and LIT Counsellor-In-Training
Crafts, Drama, Sports, Water, Groundskeeper - Leaders & Assistants
Cooks - Head & Assistant Cooks
Counsellors - Must be 17-yrs old by June 1, 2022
Counsellors-in-Training - Must be 15-yrs old by June 1, 2022
Crafts, Drama, Sports, Water, Groundskeeper - Must be 15-yrs old by June 1, 2022
Cook - Must be 18-yrs+ old by June 1, 2022
Lifeguard* - Must be 15-yrs old by June 1, 2022
Kitchen Helper - Must be 15-yrs old by June 1, 2022
** Additional Lifeguard Requirements: Must have experience guarding and teaching swimming lessons. Current Standard First Aid & CPR certification, minimum Current Lifesaving NL certificate. Completion or willingness to complete the Waterfront NL course. Current swimming instructor certificate (Red Cross program) an asset. Current Lifesaving Society instructor certificate an asset.
Applying for a Staff Position
1) Complete the Staff Application Form
2) Attend a staff LEAP Training Weekend at Camp Rehoboth. Date TBD.

Camp Directors will be contacting Applicants by email to schedule interviews via Zoom in May 2022.
The Staff Training will follow the COVID-19 restrictions/protocols in place from the Government of Alberta at the time of the events.
All camp leadership positions will be given an honorarium of $125 or service hours for school projects. Counsellors-in-Training and Assistants may also receive service hours.
In cooperation with the staff member, special diet requests will be assessed and accommodated on an individual basis.
